Pregnancy week 26

Ok so I decided to let you guys know what is going on in my Pregnancy in case you care.................So every week I will let you know the ins and outs of Baby Dillon:

Your baby now weighs a little less than 2 pounds and measures about 14 inches, from head to heel. The nerve pathways in his ears are developing, which means his response to sounds is growing more consistent. His lungs are developing now, too, as she continues to take small breaths of amniotic fluid — good practice for when she's born and takes that first breath of air. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

Around this time, your blood pressure may be increasing slightly as it returns to its normal pre-pregnancy range. (It was at a low from 22 to 24 weeks.)

If your back seems a little achy lately, you can thank pregnancy hormones (which are loosening up your joints and ligaments) and your shifting center of gravity. Walking, standing, or sitting for long periods, bending and lifting can all put a strain on your back. A warm bath — or cool compress — might bring relief. Or you may want to schedule a prenatal massage by a trained therapist. Use a pregnancy wedge when sleeping, to support your back and abdomen. Try to maintain good posture, which will help reduce the strain on your back, and always take care when bending and lifting.

Ouch

Long story short, I fell down my steps outside this morning. I could not get up, and I cried for help and no one could hear. When I could get up, I had to crawl inside because Dakota was inside, and I called Dennis and he took me to the doc. Baby Dillon is ok and we ran some tests to make sure it was all ok. I, on the other hand, have broken my tail bone, I am pretty sure. If it is not broken, it is pretty damn close. I did not go to a doc for that because there is nothing that can be done, and since I am pg, I can not take any pain meds. I am at my mom's house so she can help with Dakota since I can barely walk. I am an idiot I know, but in my defense, the steps were icy and I was wearing dress shoes. At least I didnt have Dakota with me (I was just going to warm up the car) because he could have been really hurt. When the thought of what happened isn't so traumatizing, I will fill you in on the schematics of my fall, because when broken down, it is kind of humorous
