Boredom
Ok, well Dennis works all of the time, and it is just me and Dakota all of the time. We watch Disney Channel all of the time. I am starting to go nuts. I felt like I was suffering from very delayed post-partum depression. So I thought I would watch some movies that I would like, and even though I had Dakota, try to enjoy some me time. So I found a made for tv movie, and then another and another. So I have been watching Lifetime for hours on end. I think it has depressed me more. It is so sad. I am pretty sure that Lifetime is TV's answer to Delila. Pretty much makes you want to down a bottle of wine and pain killers and sulk (ok maybe not that drastic, but you get the point). Yet I am addicted and I keep watching and watching. So I guess that makes me pretty much a loser for sitting at home on a Saturday night watching Lifetime movies. The sad part is, that even if Dakota was at my parent's or something, I would not be doing anything different, except maybe sleeping. If I were not pregnant I would bide my time until Dakota went to bed, and then drink some wine and sit on the back porch and chill. Sounds stupid, but feels very nice. But for some reason without the wine, it loses its touch. Oh well Dennis will be home soon, and Dakota will be in bed, and I can have some much needed alone time with my wonderful Husband who works so hard for his family. He really is awesome. I guess I am pretty much a bitch for complaining about being at home watching chick flicks while my husband works two jobs. Oh well I am over it now. Funny huh? Hormones!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading
So I have decided that I want to start reading more, besides the required reading for school. I wanted to read educational things, smutty books, biographies, etc... Anything as long as it is something I want to read, instead of have to read. I just finished a book by Jane Green called 'Babyville'. It is too funny, and made me wish I lived in London or somewhere similar. All of her characters are based there. The reason I want to live there is because they seem to be more sophisticated than I am. Also they are free to use the word 'Fuck' whenever they want, and I really would like to call people 'wankers' without sounding weird. That being said, I would only want to be one of the characters from the books, honestly, I do not want to be French. But if we are talking in a literary sense, I do enjoy reading about the fictional French (did any of that make sense?)
I am now reading '100 People who are screwing up America". I simply love this book. I know that most of my liberal friends on here would probably assume burn the book, but it is a good read for me. Except for the opening of the book alludes to an extreme dislike for the F bomb, and anyone who knows me, knows that it could possibly be my favorite word of all. And there are other points I may not agree on 100% probably because of the age I grew up in, and because sometimes I love vulgarity. So to each its own. If you are ever in a book store and just have a second to pick the book up, please look at #'s 95 and 90. I do not care what your political persuasion, you will laugh.
Also, if you are looking for some fun mindless reading, that just is fun to enjoy, and if you like the F bomb and the word wanker, please buy Jane Green's books. Too funny.
