Well, I am exhausted so I am going to keep this short. Dalton rang in his first Christmas at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with RSV pneumonia. We were very worried, but are assured now that he is on a path to recovery. It is so hard wot watch him be sick and suffer...he is so miserable, it just breaks my heart. We got home a little after four this morning from the ER, and the older two boys got up at 7 to see what Santa had brought them. Everyone really did have a great Christmas, and the boys have more toys than they could ever play with.
Dalton is asleep now, and hopefully tomorrow will be agood day and he will be able to breathe easier and actually eat.

Emily Harding
If anyone is interested, it would mean a lot for me and my family for you to sign up. If you have any questions let me know!! And Please spread the word.
Emily's Memorial Website
The Sumner County Anti Drug Coalition will be hosting a sanctioned run to memorialize those lives that have been lost to drugs and alcohol. In recent years this has been called the Emily Harding Memorial Run. Since taking over the hosting of the Run, the Drug Coalition has renamed the run "the Memorial 5k Run". The date of the run will be October 25th, 2008. The Run starts at 8:00 AM along with all of the other family attractions. The Run and the fun is expected to last until about 2:00 PM. The Drug Coalition hopes that this will be the first of many runs to follow. To help attract families there will be booths, food, and exhibits by the state police and other law enforcement agencies. This should be a good opportunity for people to come and remember lost ones, learn about what our coalition is doing to help those in Sumner County affected by Drug and Alcohol use, or just enjoy the entertainment of a live band. The Coalition is also in need of people to help with the organizational committees that will make sure all the details are attended to. If you would like more information on the race or volunteering you may contact the Coalition office at 615-461-8243 or www.sumnercountyantidrug.org/run.
If you would like to participate by memorializing someone from Sumner County that has lost their life due to Drugs and Alcohol or participate in the Memorial Run, please call Brandy Warner at 615-461-8243.
The Sumner County Anti Drug Coalition is starting to grow and is in need of volunteers with all kinds of talents to offer. If you know someone that would like to volunteer or you would like to volunteer, please call our offices at 615-461-8243.

Dalton Update
Dalton had his 2 month check up today. Below are his stats.
Weight 11 lbs 7.5 oz - 42%
Length 23.5 in - 66%
Head 15.5 in - 34%
So he has grown 2.5 inches and gained almost 4 pounds.
Doctor said we need to start putting rice cereal in his bottles just a little bit. She said that just a teaspoon or so is enough to thicken it up a little so he will hold more of it down.
Also we need to start putting him on the wedge to sleep on his left side to try help with his flat spot. She said where it is it could cause his face to get deformed if we don't get it fixed. We told her that he always looks to the right no matter what, so she said she will have a physical therapist call us for some neck exercises to do for him.
Other than that he is doing perfect.

Quickie
Ok so this will be quick. Just wanted to throw out a little update...
My Gammy passed away and I will miss her deeply.
Dalton started Daycare.
He does well there.
Dillon and Dakota have both gotten so big, it amazes me everyday.
Dennis still works a lot.
I am working full time and about to start a part time 2nd job.
Daycare is expensive.
Dillon gets up every two hours in the night to eat.
I am sleepy.
I have the best husband in the world.
CJ is getting married this month.
Then he will be deployed and I will be sad.
My family has a lot of gas problems...you learn that on a nine hour car ride with people.
I wish I were independently wealthy.
I wish I had more willpower, drive and determination to workout and diet.
2 of my cousins are about to have babies.
I cant wait.
I am praying for my Poppy.
I need a new laptop.
I cant afford a new laptop.
Dakota plays tball this weekend.
I should be working.
Dalton is getting so big, and he is a cutie pie...
He likes to be held
Peace Out

Blessed
It is hard to believe that Dalton will be a month old on Thursday. Time really flies when you don't sleep ha ha. He is getting better every day and his brothers are so wonderful to him. They help me out, and love on him and kiss him, and talk to him. Dillon has regressed a little and wont use the potty anymore and wants to be held and treated like a baby, but that is normal.
Dalton has a hard time going 2 so he is really gassy and fussy which makes for some long nights. Thank goodness Dennis helps out. He is wonderful. Dalton gets up about every 2 hours in the night and stays up for about an hour (on and off).
Over the last week though he has started to be more alert when he is awake and really looking around and trying to absorb everything around him.
Well I guess that is about it for us...Thanks for taking the time to read this

I just wanted to thank everyone for all of their support. I seriously have the best friends and family ever. This was not an easy pregnancy and I truly appreciate all of the help I received. Then all of the visitors we got in the hospital and since we got home. It really has been great. So thank you for the calls, emails prayers, visits, food, etc... We truly appreciate it and hope we can return the favor one day

Mucus plug.....gone
contractions....10 minutes apart
pre-labor poop....check
Now I am cleaning the house and trying to get these contractions closer together so that I can go into full labor. Fingers crossed. If this is not the real deal I may go insane

Update on Dalton
I went to my 37 week check up today. I am 100% effaced and starting to dialate. (If you do not know what this means...GOOGLE)
I am set to be induced at 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 4th if Dalton does not come out on his own. I am hoping though he comes before then. While I want him to be ready to come out, I am completely miserable. Plus time is money...since the doc had me leave work, the longer it takes for him to arrive, the poorer I get ha ha.
Thank you all for your support over the last nine months, and in 11 days max, we will all get to meet Dalton.

Dakota's ER trip
Ok, I will try not to make this a novel. We went to KY lake with my family this weekend like we do every year on the 4th weekend. Dennis and I and the boys (along with other family) were sitting in my Grandparents back yard. Dakota was playing with the Ninja Turtle Fishing Pole that Kate got him. He was practicing casting and reeling in. *we weren't on the water at the time, just practicing. Well he got his line caught on a tree branch. So he started to reel it in and run at the same time. He was not looking where he was going and fell into this thing in my grandmother's yard. It is a birdhouse and she has a sundial, plants, and rocks planted around it. It is very pretty.
Well Dakota fell face first into it. He started crying, and we assumed he was just scared. When he stood up there was blood gushing everywhere. I freaked out and just started running around crying and being useless. Dennis and my dad grabbed him and got some paper towels and a wash cloth. It became obvious that he would need stitches (at this point I have not seen the injury as I am still being useless and running around FREAKING) So Dennis holds Dakota and I drive and we start heading to the closest town, hoping to see Hospital signs. We finally make it to the hospital in ....Benton.. ..KY..... This hospital's exterior left much to be desired. We contemplated leaving and driving some more to find somewhere else. But we decided to go on in.
At first the hospital staff was stunned because they thought I was in labor and they did not have a maternity ward. I assured them I was ok .(Even though I did start with some contractions just from stress but they quickly went away) We were put in a room immediately and seen by the doctor. The good thing about small town hospitals is that they are not busy. We were in and out in a little over an hour. Anyways at this point Dakota and Dennis are covered in blood, I am still useless, and we are trying to keep Dakota awake. He keeps trying to fall asleep. The nursing staff then goes in to prepare him for stitches. He cries for about one second and then begins laughing. I am in the hallway and can hear him cracking up. Dennis said that one of the male nurses was wonderful with him Dakota thought the guy was hilarious. He got six stitches. We then did a head scan and they said everything looked ok.
We took him to the store to get a surprise. He was pretty bummed though because he can't get his head wet, so our swimming weekend was not as great as planned. He has been such a trooper. However, Dennis and I are still freaked and won't let him out of our site. It was the worst feeling. I am going to put some pictures on here. They are not too bad as they are with my camera phone. The ones Dennis took with our camera are graphic, but I don't have the stomach to post them right now.

So I suck
Went to doc. She said I have already gained too much weight and I should go on a diet. I think I will pass. I told her I gained way more in the other pregnancies and she says she does not want me to do that this time. While I am going to try to curb the amount of fast food I eat, I think I will be ok. I don't eat a lot, I just make poor choices, but I have a busy life, so it is hard...I digress. She also suggested that I take water aerobics...not sure how I feel about that...don't really feel like being social these days. Last but not least, I am having to take physical therapy for my tailbone, which I am very excited about it. The brochure says they have aquatic therapy so maybe I can exercise and get pt all at once. My tailbone is causing me so much pain it is ridiculous. Anywho that is it for me. Dalton is doing wonderful. I am measuring 32 weeks. But that does not really mean anything. He will come when he is ready

Back to the hospital
So here is the reader's digest version. Started cramping Sunday night and throwing up, however I was in Savannah and without easy access to medical care, I did not go to the ER. Same thing started happening Monday night and this morning. Called the doctor and they sent me to OB Triage. Spend most of the day there. They were swamped in triage so I got a birthing suite which was cool. Rere took me and has been a wonderful friend.
First, the good news, the baby seems to be doing great. His heartbeat was great and he was very active.
I just got home from the hospital where I was poked, prodded, and monitored all day.
My blood pressure is still something of concern and they suspect it will continue to climb.
I am going back in tomorrow for a complete follow up with my doctor (the docs I saw today were not mine) and figure out what the next step is.
For now, all I know is that I need to take it easy tonight and try to get my BP regulated. I am going tp try pulling favors with friends and family to get as much help with the boys as possible. I have what is called Pregnancy Induced Hypertension. It is what is trying to cause me to go into premature labor, however there are a lot of things I can control to try to help that, so that is good news too
Doctor's really just want to do whatever necessary to have me hold on for 5-6 more weeks. Nurse said I need to cut back my work schedule if I can, or I will end up on full bed rest in a few weeks.
Thank you all for your help and prayers.

Pregnancy update
Well as some of you know I spent last weekend on Bed Rest. I had to have a lot of tests run and the good news is, everything looks good. Baby is healthy and I am healthy besides having high BP. Doc just said she will keep an eye on my BP and if it stays high, but I am otherwise healthy, she will deliver me around 37 weeks. She said I need to try to relax as much as possible (yeah right) and try to not let stuff stress me out so much. So that is my update on me. Oh and baby Dalton is big for his age. Probably that large Parrott head that my other boys have

My 3 Sons
So I am having boy 3. I was really hoping for a girl but I am very happy to be having a healthy baby boy. The tech said she was 100% sure it was a boy. However, he would not cooperate and so we have to go back at our next appointment and have another ultrasound because he would not move around enough for them to get a peek at all they needed. He was sitting with his feet behind his head. It did not look very comfortable ha ha.
I am pretty sure with 3 boys I am either going to be in a loony bin in five years or a drunk ha ha jk.
Thank you all for sharing in this with us, and I will post ultrasound pics when I can

Oh baby
I felt the baby move last night. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but then it happened again and I knew. I go to the doc today at 2 for a check up. I will send an update if anything exciting happens. I cant wait for the ultrasound on March 20. I just really want to see my baby moving his/her arms and legs…I am starting to get excited...

We went to the doc yesterday and heard the baby's heart beat. It was 160 bpm. We find out the sex on March 20. YAY YAY YAY
